about sofia
“There is only one you; so whoever that is, be MORE of it! Life is too short for us not to embrace the many facets of our individuality. Don’t be sorry for taking up the space you need to grow into the person you’re meant to be.”
Sofia graduated with her BFA in Musical Theatre from The University of Arizona. Her recent credits include Caleb Urrea’s short film Y Mil Cabras Me Miraron, Charissa (standby) in Arizona Theatre Company’s production of My 80-Year-Old Boyfriend, and Catherine in Arizona Repertory Theatre’s production of Pippin.
Sofia was born and raised in Pasadena, CA. She is one of seven children, and a proud aunt of two beautiful nieces. She finds so much catharsis through the performing arts, particularly acting and singing. She works hard to create truthful performances and aspires to suspend the disbelief of those who choose to listen. As an empath and an advocate for mental health, Sofia understands what an important role the performing arts play in providing a safe space to release emotions. Sometimes people need to laugh, or cry, or both! This is what it means to be so unapologetically human.
